DESCRIPTION:It’s GourMAY!!! And we are so excited to welcome back the wonderful Matt Golinski to celebrate the flavours of Autumn. \nThere is no pretense with Matt\, just a passion for food prepared from the freshest local ingredients grown by his farmer friends. One of the most memorable things about Matt’s meals (apart from the food!) is the time he takes to explain the menu\, the ingredients and the farmers that produced them. You can’t help but be inspired by Matt’s creativity and sensitivity with food and you’ll leave with an appreciation of just how much good food comes out of the Mary Valley and surrounding region. This is not dinner for the sake of it\, this is a meal to connect you to the local landscape and the people who farm here. \nServed like a family meal on long tables this is an experience to enjoy real food and the magic that happens when good people come together to eat.  You’ll be joining our Seasonal Starter Workshop participants\, who will have spent the proceeding few hours expanding their knowledge on growing food organically\, with this meal culminating their winter preparation workshop with us at the Farm Store. In fact\, some of the produce you will be eating will be what was planted during their autumn preparation workshop back in February. \nYou never leave hungry when Matt’s cooking – are you ready for a culinary adventure? Spots are limited so book now to secure your spot. \nA menu will be posted closer to the event once Matt has touched base with all his farmer suppliers to see what they’ve got growing. \nCost is $125.50 pp plus OzTix booking fee. This includes all courses. A range of beverages including beer\, wine and cocktails as well as non-alcoholic choices will be available for purchase on the night. \n  \nWho is Matt Golinski? \n\nMatt is a highly regarded professional chef with a passion for creating cuisine with fresh\, seasonal and local ingredients. \n\n\nMatt’s love of food started at an early age. Growing up on a tropical fruit farm on the Sunshine Coast surrounded by fresh produce has influenced his style of cooking throughout his entire career. By the age of 12\, he had decided he wanted to be a chef\, and 31 years later his passion for the industry he loves only continues to grow by the day. \nWell-known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series\, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants and founded his own catering company – find out more www.mattgolinski.com.au \n\nWhat is GourMAY? \nGourMay Mary Valley is a month long festival to celebrate the regions farmers\, producers and creators. Running throughout the month of May\, the calendar includes farm tours and open days\, breakfast\, lunch and dinners\, workshops\, art\, film\, music\, walking tours and much more –  concluding with a Gala Dinner Party.
