This year you can visit a few Mary Valley farms plus the local markets where you can meet more local farmers plus buy local produce to take home. \nHere are participating farms from the Mary Valley for 2019 \nForage Farms\, Kybong (REGISTER HERE FOR FORAGE FARM TOUR) \nWharenui Honey & Avocados\, Amamoor\, (REGISTER HERE FOR WHARENUI TOUR) \nKandanga Farm\, Kandanga REGISTER HERE \nDingo Creek Vineyard\, Traveston (REGISTER HERE FOR DINGO CREEK TOUR) \nPlus \nClik Clak Cafe at Amamoor \nKandanga Kitchen at the Kandanga Farm Store \nDagun Station Markets (Saturday Afternoons) \nFarm Tours are all FREE and some of the farms will be selling produce so please support them.  \nBut wait there’s MORE! \nAt the Kandanga Farm Store we will have a mini market set up to feature some of our other local producers and artisans. Come and meet the makers\, sample their wares and help build a thriving small business driven local economy. Some of our market holders include \nMichelle from Ugly Duck Preserves – Michelle uses the Kandanga Farm Store commercial kitchen to value add to produce that does not meet retail sale spec (ie it is misshapen\, too big\, too small – or just misunderstood) into gourmet relishes\, chutneys and jams. \nVictoria from Winsland Park will be launching her new range of wild ferments also using ALL local chemical free produce. \nRyan from Mary Valley Smallgoods with his locally made salamis and sausages \nJon from Woodland Herbs with his herbs\, medicinal herbs\, succulants and flowers \nKarl from Venz guitars with his gorgeous guitars and ukeleles all made at Amamoor using local timbers \nJuice Caboose will also be here with their healthy and delicious juices and smoothies. \nAND!!!! By pre-registering you will automatically go into the draw to win a product from one of the above market participants. There’s one give away per tour. Kandanga Farm is an organic (in conversion) beef property plus has a market garden that is run by the students of Kandanga State School. Products that are sold by Bos Rural Supplies at The Kandanga Farm Store are trialled on the farm too. \nJoin farmer Tim for rolling tours throughout the day. Tim loves to talk about regenerative agriculture which is farming to save the planet! See the entirely pasture fed cattle and learn how they are managed in a way to reduce stress\, mirror natures patterns and repair the landscape. Whether you are a city slicker or a old time farmer we think this tour will be informative and inspiring. \nKandanga Kitchen will be open on the day to keep you sustained. Kandanga Kitchen has a seasonal menu that features local produce including Kandanga Farm’s K2 Beef. Thursday to Sunday is your chance!\nJoin Tim from Kandanga Farm in the 6 seater ATV for a guided tour around Kandanga Farm – see regenerative farming in action\, talk about the process of becoming Certified (Organic that is!)\, maybe join in moving cattle between paddocks and meet the sheep\, chooks and pigs. Tours run for approximately 30 minutes and every tour is slightly different depending on what is going on at the time on the farm.
